Items drive Sephiria builds

Run power in Sephiria 1.0 comes from loot layered on weapon skill. ~300 artifacts occupy your inventory grid with shaped footprints. ~70 tablets activate when adjacent tags match. Miracles provide actives with cooldown strategy. Potions save failed telegraph reads. The Side Bag stores swap pieces for boss checkpoints introduced at 1.0 launch (2026-07-31).

Items are run-local except knowledge — learning tag names persists across deaths. Permanent account growth remains Destiny Inscription and Ken’s talents from Getting Started.

Items versus weapons versus inscription

LayerResets each run?Function
Weapon upgradesYesCombo kit inside run
Artifacts/tabletsYesGrid proc engine
Miracles/PotionsMostly consumableTactical spikes
Destiny InscriptionNoAccount baseline

Neglecting any layer caps progression. Items cannot fix zero inscription; inscription cannot fix dead grid cells.

Co-op item etiquette

Online co-op shares visibility on drops, not private grids. Call tag needs; avoid stealing tablet lines your ally announced. No host migration — disconnect loses items in progress like any run end.

Hard Mode item pressure

Hard Mode elemental modifiers demand elemental tags and cleanse Potions or Miracles. Generic sustain artifacts fall off; specialized tablets rise. Plan Side Bag elemental swaps before entering modified chapters.

No codes, no external loot

Sephiria is a Steam roguelite (app 2436940) without redeem codes. All items earn inside legitimate runs — ignore fake code sites.

Evaluating a drop under time pressure

When a room ends and three artifacts appear, score each option in five seconds: Does the footprint fit without breaking a live tablet line? Does the tag reinforce your weapon from Weapon Types? Will it still matter against the next chapter boss documented under Bosses? If two answers are no, take gold or a Potion instead of clutter. The Tablet Combinations page trains that snap judgment; this hub is the map of what those drops even are.

Items are Sephiria’s roguelite vocabulary. Learn artifact shapes, tablet grammar, and Miracle timing — then every drop becomes a sentence in a build you can read before the fight starts.
